Computer Forensic Training: The Forensic Detectives has changed the way we all do business. In the early days, people compared it the Gold Rush of the late 20th century in the India. The people who made it to the line first got the goodies, made their fortunes, marked out their territories and didn’t take kindly to people invading their territories. The people who got left behind, took the less attractive plots, and when they went into town to register them, came back to discover that the wheels to their wagon had been stolen.

Uses of Internet in India
The internet of today is not dissimilar. It seems that at every corner there is danger, and simple and gullible people have been known to be tricked out of their entire life savings by some of the hundreds if not thousands of computer hackers and spammers that lie in wait in the virtual undergrowth waiting for an opportunity to strike.
However all is not as black as it seems. Today there are no sheriffs patrolling the internet as there was in the days of the Wild West. Instead there private investigators dealing specifically in all forms of internet skullduggery, and instead of wearing the sheriff’s star, they are wearing a licence that states “Graduates of Master of Science in Forensic Computing.” These private investigators have a career in computer forensic training.
Computer crime is reaching epidemic proportions, and the powers that be are doing all in their power both to arrest the flow and to prevent these forms of crime, which occur both at a business and at a personal level. This emerging crime wave is being met by private investigators with computer forensics training.
In response to the demand for private investigators that hold a computer forensics degree, learning institutes all over the India have added to their syllabus a wide range forensics programs. These include criminal investigation, forensic science, digital forensics, computer forensic training, and crime scene technician training. These courses can be taken either online (a computer forensic training online degree) or campus-based, and reach both the Masters and Doctoral levels.
Students who graduate a Master of Science in Forensic Computing course will have garnered an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice issues relating to the investigation of electronic crime as well as to curtail to it. They will also have gained a solid foundation in computer science in a forensic field.
The computing curriculum is ground in theory designed to equip students on how to respond and react to the continuously changing technical and legal challenges in handling of electronic crime and crime solving. They are actively encouraged to participate in all forms of research, as well as their day to day training focusing on computer forensic training as well as many forms of security techniques.
The syllabus also has its practical side designed to provide the students with work experience in as broad a spectrum as forensic computing specialties as the course’s organizers can arrange. These include as cyber-investigators, first responders, technicians in forensic labs and consultants on computer security issues.
Graduates from a computer forensics school or reputable computer forensics training will come armed with extensive knowledge of computer technology especially how it relates to electronic crime, both online and offline. They will be capable of retrieving information from a computer hard disc, which the owner was convinced had been erased up to establishing the true identity of a computer hacker or spammer, even though they had gone to tremendous lengths to cover their tracks.
Electronic crime will be with us for a long time, and as the cyber crooks become more sophisticated and knowledgeable, then the methods to counteract them will require growing apace. The young people who have chosen to make their career in computer science will become the kings of the profession. The stakes are high, probably running into hundreds of millions, but so will be the rewards. It all starts with computer forensics training.
